They took the big room on the third floor and did not give it back. They put the chronology on the wall in six-foot strips of A3 and the eleven claimants on a whiteboard and by the end of the first week the cleaner had stopped coming in. Owen the pupil moved a camp bed into the corner as a joke and then, on the Thursday, actually slept in it.
