The Mill

John Hutcheson was put off the Craigend mill in the September of 1526 by his own laird, for reasons of husbandry, in writing, with a steward's hand on it and a term's notice.

That sentence is in the fifteenth chapter of this and it takes about eleven seconds to read, and it took four months to arrange, and it is the single most careful thing either of them ever did.
